The fourteen-year-old Dubuque girl, who has acute lymphoblastic leukemia is receiving a wish to go to Walt Disney World® Resort through Make-A-Wish® Iowa. The flash mob will surprise her just before her wish granting team reveals her itinerary and details of her travel.
Mary Patch, Make-A-Wish volunteer, will be the on-site contact for this event.
What: A locally-organized flash mob will surprise wish child Sarah Pieterek just before her wish delivery, when she learns the itinerary for her wish. The group will dance to Sarah’s favorite song, “Stronger”, by Kelly Clarkson.
