The gala allows participants to bid on items and it usually raises tens of thousands of dollars for the group. Konig says she is optimistic donations will still be strong even though people won't have an in-person event to go to.

At the 17th annual Dubuque Gala Saturday, Make-A-Wish® Iowa announced their 4,000th wish would be fulfilled for Michael. Michael has been battling a life-threatening, rare disease.
Michael's wish? A livestock trailer. This will help him with his passion of showing cattle and will expand the cattle business he has with his brother.

Will Wade is 13 years old and attending Barrett-Jackson for the first time.
Why? "To see people like me, gearheads, just all over the place," he said.
Wade is attending the collector car auction at WestWorld of Scottsdale as part of his wish with Make-A-Wish, a nonprofit that grants wishes to children between the ages of 2 and 18 who are living with a critical illness.
