One of my activities I absolutely loved was snorkeling! When I got in the water, it was kind of cold at first, but then it felt really nice. My mom got in with me and we started swimming around. We went to this place called The Crater, but we couldn’t go up and sit on it because it was made of coral. If we sat on it, it would die and scratch us. I saw so many colorful fish! There was this one fish that was like see through and clear! It was weird looking! I went to the side of the boat and looked down. It was so deep! I could barely see the bottom!
The next day my mom and I went para sailing! We were so high! My mom and I were on the lookout for sharks, but thankfully we didn’t see a single one! A few days later we went to an amazing luau! My favorite part was the amazing food and the fire act. On the last day all I wanted to do is swim in the awesome pool - and we did for seven hours! We all got so sunburned, but it was worth it!
I just want to say thank you so much. I could never tell you how much this meant to my family and me. We are so thankful for this wonderful little break from reality. It was nice to not think about all my surgeries and my hurt leg. It was nice to spend time with my family. I will never forget what Make-A-Wish did for my family and me. Thank you,
